“It was just a really close school and I know it’s much better than all the other community colleges. And I also had a lot of friends that came here.”

“I think (Moraine) is really good. A lot of people are really welcoming. I feel like it’s really easy to make friends, especially the first year, because nobody knows what they’re doing. But so far, I really like it, it’s really easy.

“I’m scared. I’m not saying that I’ve never taken a final, but I don’t know what to expect because, obviously, it’s college. I notice that I do have to study for my things, I can’t just go into it without studying. So, I’m kind of nervous about that, but I think I’ll be okay. “

“It was a close school to my house and I wanted to save money rather than going to a school in the city. So I wanted to come here first for at least two years.”

“I think it’s gone well. I like my classes. I kind of registered late, so I was iffy about that, but they ended up being good classes.

“I’m kind of nervous because I’ve had to study hard for my tests. I kind of forget information along the way, so I have to review a lot for my finals, but I think it’ll be good.”

“I don’t know why I’m here, I’m just here to be here. I’m here because I need to be here.”

“I feel like it went by really fast. The teachers are really good at explaining themselves, although some are unorganized. But I think the semester itself – pretty understandable, pretty easy.

“There’s a lot of diversity, which is nice. There was a lot of diversity in people, and with different styles and stuff. It’s very nice to see actually.

“Afraid. I feel anxious, but not prepared – although I am. But I still feel lowkey unprepared.”
